ADIPEC 2025, the world's largest energy gathering, kicked off in Abu Dhabi with a record-breaking attendance of over 205,000 participants from 172 countries. This four-day event, organized by ADNOC, is a powerhouse of innovation and collaboration, focusing on strategies for resilience, intelligence, and decarbonization across the energy value chain. With 2,250 exhibitors, including 54 national and international oil companies, and 30 country pavilions, ADIPEC 2025 is a hub of knowledge and networking. Over 1,800 speakers will address key themes such as AI integration in energy, sustainable investments, and innovation across 12 conference programs.
India, a key player in the global energy transition, has made a significant impact at ADIPEC 2025. The India Pavilion, a collaborative effort by the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI), the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), showcases advancements in renewables, digital solutions, and low-carbon technologies. Over 150 Indian companies, including Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Engineers India Limited (EIL), Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), are participating. The pavilion was inaugurated by Dr. Deepak Mittal, Ambassador of India to the UAE, who emphasized the deepening energy partnership between India and the UAE.
Dr. Mittal's speech highlighted the growing strength of the Indian manufacturing and service sector, with over 150 Indian companies offering a diverse range of products. He also expressed enthusiasm for the India Energy Week, set to take place in January 2026 in Goa, calling it a symbol of the growing synergy between ADIPEC and India's energy initiatives. This event is a testament to India's commitment to the global energy transition and its role as a key player in shaping the future of energy.
