Morocco is gearing up for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, a major sporting event, by training an impressive 15,000 volunteers. This initiative includes over 1,000 African students living in the country, all set to contribute to the tournament's success. The training, held in Rabat from November 7 to 10, focuses on essential skills like public reception, guidance, and assistance, ensuring a professional and memorable experience for all participants. The goal is to showcase Moroccan hospitality and values, making the event unforgettable for both visitors and locals. Chaimae Kiani, an official at the Office for Vocational Training and Job Promotion (OFPPT), emphasizes the impact of volunteering on the kingdom's sports visibility and the overall experience of sporting events. The training covers communication, crisis response, and teamwork, with volunteers set to serve in various locations, including airports, hotels, train stations, and stadiums. This program aligns with Morocco's broader strategy to promote youth participation, African solidarity, and the national image, not just for the 2025 AFCON but also as they co-host the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
